The GE & Science Prize for Young Life Scientists has been established to provide support to scientists at the beginning of their careers, because Science/AAAS and GE Healthcare believe that such support is critical for continued scientific progress. In 2011, the prize will recognize outstanding graduate students in molecular biology from all regions of the world. This international prize will be awarded for the outstanding thesis in the general area of molecular biology as described in a 1000-word essay. The winning essay will be published in Science; essays of the regional award winners will appear in the online version of Science

he MA RTP is a new one-year master program especially designed for international graduates wanting to start a PhD-program in Germany.
The Program is taught at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

The International Student Academic Merit Scholarship at East Tennessee State University is open to new international students who plan to study at the undergraduate or the graduate level.  This scholarship covers 50% of total tuition costs and maintenance fees.

Applicants for a studentship should submit an application form in Welsh or English. It must include a research proposal of not more than 1,000 words. Masters applicants should outline the proposed area of study and their plans for the dissertation. Research applicants should give the proposed title for their thesis and an explanation of the scope and significance of the proposed research. Postgraduates already pursuing research degrees in the Cardiff School of History and Archaeology are eligible to apply.

Alumni Bursaries are available for both full and part-time study. For students studying part-time, the award will be made on a pro-rata basis.
