Strategic Communications: An International Perspective (Summer Certificate Program in late July / early August) Application deadline: June 1, 2010

 

A select group of corporate communications executives with global responsibilities, who are based overseas, will gather in New York City to participate in an intensive two-week program. Students will learn to develop and practice effective communications strategies to respond to the challenges and opportunities presented by operating in the global marketplace, and acquire the thinking habits that will allow them to offer superior strategic counsel to their internal and external constituents.

As part of Rasmussen College's 110th anniversary, we are offering 110 scholarships to new students. The scholarship value varies depending on the degree level selected by the potential student. A Bachelor's degree seeking student is eligible for up to $10,000 and an Associate's degree seeking student is eligible for up to $5,000.

Humboldt State University's admission for fall 2010 is open until May 31, 2010 for international undergraduate students and graduate MBA students only. Admitted students would join a growing international student population of 140 students from over 30 countries.

 St. Catherine University is offering scholarships for international students. The priority deadline for undergraduate international student scholarship applications is March 15, 2010 for entry in the Fall (August) semester. Scholarships to students who apply after March 15 are also available, but those scholarships are generally smaller.

The DIMAP aims to recruiting qualified and highly motivated students for PhD scholarships. Applicants should have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Operational Research, with excellent grades and references. Interest in interdisciplinary research is a bonus.

The Max F. Perutz Laboratories offer students from all over the world the opportunity to participate in the Max F. Perutz PhD Program.

The Max F. Perutz Labs are a joint-venture of the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna. Located at the Vienna Biocenter Campus, the Max F. Perutz Labs enable students to participate in high quality research in an international academic environment as well as establishing connections with nearby companies.

The MFPL PhD Program provides interdisciplinary training and research opportunities in a highly attractive and inspiring research environment for outstanding University Graduates who wish to work towards a PhD in the fields of Molecular Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Developmental Biology, Genetics, Biophysics, Neurobiology and Bioinformatics.

PhD students have a primary affiliation with one of the participating research groups, and are enrolled as graduate students at the University of Vienna or the Medical University of Vienna. The language of the PhD Program is English. The duration of a thesis is 3 to 4 years.

All MFPL PhD students are employed with a full-time contract and a salary corresponding to the guidelines of the Austrian Research Funds (FWF). Students are recruited by a structured selection and interview process.

The objective of the Scholarship and Fellowship Programs is to help create an international community of highly-trained professionals working in the field of economic and social development. The community will actively participate in the capacity building efforts in the developing countries.

The Bullitt Environmental Fellowship is a two-year, $50,000/year fellowship for graduate students interested in pursuing leadership positions within the environmental field.

The Bullitt Environmental Fellowship is offered in memory of longtime Foundation Chair, Priscilla Bullitt Collins. In her honor, an outstanding, environmentally knowledgeable graduate student from a community under-represented in the environmental movement, who has demonstrated exceptional capacity for leadership as well as scholarship, will receive a two-year, $50,000/year fellowship award.
