About the WPI Fellowship
In 47 years, over 500 journalists from 94 countries have benefited from the WPI experience.

 

WPI fellows begin their fellowship in Minneapolis- St. Paul, Minnesota, with briefings about aspects of the United States. The fellows then embark on a journey across the U.S., with briefings, interviews and visitations in states in the nation.

 

Selection is a competitive process. Each year, 100-200 journalists outside the U.S. apply.

The two-year Master in Public Policy (MPP) programme provides a strong foundation in conceptual and analytical skills for future public service leaders and individuals with an interest in understanding and influencing how public policy choices are made.

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio is now offering a multidisciplinary, interdepartmental program of study and research leading to a Master\'s and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cell, Molecular and Structural Biology (CMSB). The CMSB program capitalizes on the interdisciplinary nature of the life sciences to provide students with educational experiences that reflect the intricate designs and complexity of living organisms.  Research is at the center of both the MS and PhD degree programs.  CMSB graduate students can choose to do their research in the laboratory of one of the more than 40 participating faculty.  CMSB students are eligible for graduate assistantships and will take courses in core areas of cell, molecular and structural biology.

Financial Aid for International Students

 

Linfield offers a limited number of partial tuition scholarships to international students.  In some cases the college may also offer part-time, on-campus work opportunities.  Interested students must apply for scholarships and campus employment by including a personal letter with the application for admission. The average annual award (including campus employment) is $18,000.

In order to support scholarship in the field of British art and architectural history and to disseminate knowledge through publications, exhibitions and education, the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art offers a variety of fellowships and grants. Please note, however, that the Centre's remit does not cover contemporary fine arts, archaeology, the current practice of architecture or the performing arts.

 

Junior Fellowships in the United Kingdom (based at the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art in London) or the United States (based at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven) are offered to scholars already engaged in doctoral research on British art or architectural history.

The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute proposes to award two Polonsky Postdoctoral Fellowships, in any field of the Humanities or Social Sciences, for a period of up to five years, beginning October 1, 2010. The Fellowships offer an annual stipend of $40,000. Yearly renewal of the Fellowships will be contingent upon demonstrated progress in research. Fellows will be expected to work on their research at the Institute for consecutive years during the period of the award.

WESLI is a comprehensive summer program that will help our new international students improve their academic English skills, adjust to American culture, and experience fun activities with other American and international students at Westminster College.  In addition, WESLI allows international students with a TOEFL IBT score from 45 - 78 to begin their studies at Westminster College - on the condition that they successfully complete the WESLI courses and have WESLI faculty recommendation. Students with TOEFL IBT score of 79 or higher are allowed to attend WESLI to adjust to American college life and practice English with Americans.

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio is now offering a multidsciplinary, interdepartmental program of study and research leading to a Ph.D. degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology (EEEB).  Students earn a degree in EEEB but closely interact with one or more departments.  The EEB program emphasizes basic and applied research and training with a major focus on the application of ecological and evolutionary principles to environmental issues.  All students are supported with teaching assistantships, research assistantships, or fellowships.
