The Open Society Scholarship Programs is pleased to announce the Global Supplementary Grant Program (GSGP) for the 2012 - 2013 academic year.  GSGP offers supplementary grants to students from select countries of Eastern and Central Europe, the former Soviet Union and Mongolia, the Middle East/Near East, and South Asia. The purpose of the program is to enable qualified students with demonstrated academic excellence and social commitment to pursue doctoral studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at accredited universities throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle/Near East, and North America.

Effective April 13, 2012, the Department of State will adjust visa processing fees. The fees for most nonimmigrant visa applications and Border Crossing Cards will increase, while all immigrant visa processing fees will decrease.

A limited number of graduate administrative assistantships, graduate teaching assistantships and graduate research assistantships are available. Graduate Assistantships provide a monthly stipend and a waiver for tuition. Out-of-state residents also receive a waiver for out-of-state fees.
