Leiden Observatory and the Leids Universiteitfonds have pleasure in inviting applications for the fifth J. Mayo Greenberg Scholarship Prize. Mrs. Naomi Greenberg and family members of the late Professor J. Mayo Greenberg, the distinguished Leiden astrophysicist, have generously provided funds for this scholarship in memory of Professor Greenberg. Additional funding is provided by the Kruytbosch Legacy, the Leids Universiteitfonds and Leiden Observatory.
The Faculty of Humanities´ PhD School at the University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for 8 PhD scholarships starting 1 September or 1 October, 2012 for a period of up to three years.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Bonn, and the Open Society Scholarship Programs are collaborating on a joint program of grants for graduates from the selected countries in Central Asia, South Caucasus, Moldova and Ukraine.
The Sydney Law School Foundation established a limited number of scholarships in 2011 to support outstanding international students undertaking a Master by Coursework program with the Sydney Law School. The Sydney Law School Foundation International Scholarship is worth AU$10,000 payable in two equal instalments in late March and late August in the first year of study.
The Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University seeks 2-4 post-doctoral scholars for research fellowships for the 2012-2013 academic year, with option to extend for an additional year. The fellowship is open to scholars who have or will obtain their doctorate between August 2010 and August 2012, and who have not held tenure-track positions. The post-doctoral fellowship of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University brings together an innovative group of interdisciplinary researchers from around the world and encourages interdisciplinary, transnational research. The fellowship provides emerging scholars the opportunity to work with distinguished faculty and a figurative space for collaborative research and publication. Fellows teach one course per academic year. Scholars from any discipline may apply, provided they illustrate how their work will contribute to Global Thought's research and teaching agenda. Fellows receive an annual salary of $55,000.00.
he Scholarships will cover up to 100% of the tuition fees (equivalent to 20.000,00 EUR - twenty thousand EUR). The amount of the scholarships will be discounted from the overall tuition fees. In case of course abandonment or exclusion for any reason, no amount of the scholarship will be paid or reimbursed
Scholarships are available for research programs in pavement engineering leading to Ph.D. (3.5~4 years), M.S. + Ph.D. (4.5 years combined course) and M.S. (2 years). The programs are research based and require publishing of research results in top academic journals. Selected candidates will be involved in government funded research projects. Candidates will receive full tuition fee waiver and salary (Approx. $900~1000 per month for PhD study; $600 per month for Master's Program). Sejong University is one of the leading private universities in Korea.
The maximum one-year award per student is $5,000. We hope that these funds will open opportunities for matching grants from other conservation organizations, government agencies and private foundations, and that BCI's support will grow in years to come.
Awards of £4000 and £6000 are available.For new students who begin a one year full-time taught Masters course in September 2012. These awards are not renewable.
